Awards Night was held on 10 August at the Hilton Kota Kinabalu. As usual, it was a night full of laughter and energy and joy.

The KKIFF is excited to announce the selection of 10 new film projects for the Sabah Pitching Training course which will be held from 9-10 August at Ibis Styles Kota Kinabalu. The participants will be working with Mark Overett from Brisbane, Australia.

There was an amazing number of applications for the Sabah Film Lab this year and it wasn’t easy picking our teams. But we’re delighted to announce the two Documentary and two Narrative teams who will be working with our mentors this year.
