The concept of Asmad (Me) is intriguing. The state of our mind be it happiness, sadness or anything for that matter is embroiled in ‘me’.

An actor by profession Gita Guha chanced upon filmmaking when the country was under lockdown during the pandemic. Making the film in such situation wasn’t easy for her, yet she accomplished it.

Good relationship between parents and children are vanishing, my film focuses on this, says director Sadath E M. This film is hugely inspired by his relation with his father and he also sends a message to the society through it.

Akshay Vaskar began his career in films and television as an actor, but soon he realised that he was better off as a director. There was so much of creativity in him that was bursting to come out.

An engineer by profession Rakesh Kadri was lured by the cinema at a young age and then there was no looking back. He is a part of many prestigious Tulu films and believes in making meaningful cinema.

He left his well-paid job to pursue his love for cinema. Arjun Kaje has acted in a number of Kannada and Tulu films.

Director J P Tuminad wanted to show his gratitude to women that is why he made the film Maa. He feels that a woman in not any less than man, firstly she should believe in this.
