Female Bodies in the Digital
BodyMeld is the project of award winning choreographer, performance artist, curator, writer, lighting and video designer Zornitsa Stoyanova (US/BUL). Her work centers around themes of otherness, womanhood, feminism, power dynamics and vulnerability. She performs in theaters, studios, galleries, museums as well as outdoors. As BodyMeld, she supports other independent choreographers through artist exchanges and performance series.

The Beach – performance by BodyMeld choreography by Zornitsa Stoyanova
The Beach is a site-specific performance created specifically for Alternative Stage festival and in relation to the space, the festival took place. A city beach during communism, the field on which the festival took place is now known as the “Fishing pond” Pancharevo.
